When we are struggling with something in our life, we can sometimes to start think, feel, and act in ways that are not our normal. This may look like sleeping more or less, yelling at loved ones, isolating from loved ones, feeling our heart beat faster or our stomach hurt in certain situations, or have tons of thoughts. We may feel down, different, or "not right". When these thoughts, emotions, and behaviors feel uncontrollable, it may be time to reach out for professional help. Together we can explore what has been going on in your life, learn ways of managing your behaviors, and work toward regaining control and peace in your life.
I work with you to create a treatment plan that is just for your needs and goals. We will look at the different areas of your life and create realistic targets that can help lead you to your bigger goals. Each session we will go over your areas of success, the areas of struggle, and adjust targets, as needed.
When life feels like it gave us too much to handle and we need someone to talk to without judgement or we simply need support, that is what I am trained to do for you. It is a passion and a love of mine to help others. My goals are to be a good listening ear, explore new ways of coping, help you reach your goals, and support you on your journey in life.
